America is Ready for Some Football
Several NFL football and college football teams have seen a boost in ticket sales for this season. The Minnesota Vikings are reporting their highest ticket sales in years, happy to finally be convincing fans to leave their HDTV sets in favor of seats in the upper sections.
The Jacksonville Jaguars also report that their ticket sales are already ahead of schedule for the upcoming season, with renewals up ten percent over previous years. This is a very good thing considering the media had Jacksonville residents in a panic over the possibility of blackouts due to low ticket sales. And the Buffalo Bills are reporting their highest ticket sales since 1993.
The Bills announced Saturday that season ticket sales are now above 52,000 - the highest since 1993. In addition, individual game seats are sold out for five home games this season - against the Jets, Browns, Seahawks, Raiders, and Chargers. - [Source]
(Never fear folks, TicketFireSale.com has Buffalo Bills tickets available for all of those sold out games!)
Several college football teams are also seeing an increase in ticket sales, including the University of Deleware, Appalachian State, the Vanderbilt Commodores and the OSU Cowboys.
Perhaps because of the new Bedlam ticket policy, OSU has sold 1,800 more season tickets than it had by this time a year ago. In order to attend the Bedlam game (Oklahoma at OSU on Nov. 29), Cowboy fans must purchase a $419 season ticket. No single-game Bedlam tickets will be made available. - [Source]
(However, as with NFL football tickets, TicketFireSale.com will also have tickets for single OSU Cowboy games available as well.)
