With the Super Bowl just a week away, let’s look at the top offensive players in the game. These are the guys you should keep an eye on as the Arizona Cardinals meet the Pittsburgh Steelers in Tampa Bay for Super Bowl XLIII.

1) Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals
In the playoffs thus far, Larry Fitzgerald has been better than anyone could have imagined. He has already set the record for most receiving yards in the playoffs, finishing with more than 100 yards in each of his three games. He also has at least one touchdown in each and at least one grab for at least 40 yards in each. Simply put, Fitzgerald is a great player who is playing at the top of his game.

2) Hines Ward, Pittsburgh Steelers
Although Hines Ward isn’t nearly as flashy as Fitzgerald, he’s an extremely good football player. In the receiving game, he runs perfect routes and has great hands. When the football isn’t in his mitts, he’s the best blocking wide receiver in the NFL. His blocking helps both in the running and passing games and is a big reason why Pittsburgh features a consistent offense.

3) Kurt Warner, Arizona Cardinals
The former MVP and former Super Bowl winner has had a resurgent 2008 NFL campaign. His arm looks as good as ever and he’s making fantastic decisions. While he is helped out due to having very good receivers, Warner is responsible for Arizona’s offense being so explosive.

4) Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
He doesn’t have Warner’s arm, resume or weapons but Ben Roethlisberger isn’t a slouch. Big Ben has great size and is deceptively elusive in the pocket. Even when a rush makes him move, he can make plays on the run. Roethlisberger also has a reputation for coming up big in clutch situations, which should serve him well in this year’s Super Bowl.

5) Willie Parker, Pittsburgh Steelers
Last time Willie Parker was in the Super Bowl, he was an afterthought. But after his 75-yard run for a touchdown, everyone knew his name. Following an injury filled regular season, Parker is healthy and ready to once again come up big in the biggest football game of the season.
