The Buffalo Bills recently announced 2008 Season ticket sales have surpassed the 50,000 mark. This is the most season tickets the team has had since 1993, when ticket sales reached 53,000. In 2007, the Buffalo Bills sold just over 48,000 season tickets.

“This certainly highlights the passion and commitment this region has for the Buffalo Bills and NFL football,” said Russ Brandon, Buffalo Bills Chief Operating Officer.

The increase in Buffalo Bills ticket sales is a pleasant surprise for the team despite the fact that the Bills have not made the playoffs for eight straight seasons. Season tickets will be on sale through August.

The announcement was made on the same day that ticket packages for a series of upcoming Buffalo games in Toronto also went on sale.
