Iron Maiden’s June Canadian Tour - What You Need To Know
Who - Iron Maiden, of course. The current formation consists of singer Bruce Dickinson, bassist Steve Harris, drummer Nicko McBrain, and guitarists Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers.
What - The tour, which has been titled the Somewhere Back in Time tour, is the first time that the group has toured the Western Canada region in over 20 years. Count ‘em - twenty!
Where/When - In this case, Western Canada. The following five cities have been scheduled:
June 3rd - Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver, British Columbia
June 5th - Pengrowth Saddledome - Calgary, Alberta
June 6th - Rexall Place - Edmonton, Alberta
June 8th - Brandt Centre - Regina, Saskatchewan
June 9th - MTS Centre - Winnipeg, Canada
Tickets reportedly are nearly sold out (as of the morning of March 29th) for all shows listed above. Blabbermouth.net is reporting that 60,000 tickets were sold yesterday morning for all five shows. Not a bad start!
