Jake Delhomme Takes Part in Panther Drills

Last year the Carolina Panthers hit the field with great expectations, including being an acknowledged playoffs contender. In week three of the 2007 season, their quarterback, Jake Delhomme, suffered a season ending injury which resulted in surgery shortly after. The Panthers were severely shaken by the loss and went on a five game losing streak, including a unexpected last-minute loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Now Delhomme is fit and pain-free with an arm that he says is as strong as ever…

…And his teammates are smiling, dreaming about a healthy Delhomme leading a new-look offence that includes a bigger offensive line, a new backfield and more depth at receiver. - [Source]

With Delhomme back in the driver’s seat, the Panthers are beginning to get pumped about the upcoming season, and so are their fans. Be sure to check our Panthers tickets page for the best tickets to their upcoming season.
