The WWE and Chairman Vince McMahon resorted to a pretty “spectacular” stunt to keep ratings for WWE’s Monday Night Raw from their slide downward recently with the launch of “Million Dollar Mania”. And this week, he made good on the promise and gave away a million dollars to eight different American viewers/winners. Too bad it did nothing to stop the ratings from continuing to ski downhill:

World Wrestling has announced another round of European tour dates for it’s RAW, SmackDown and ECW brands following a successful tour of Europe last week. A press release from the company touts the recent tour which was a huge success, generating $14+ million in ticket sales for 20 events.

World Wrestling Entertainment has a series of live events heading to Southern Ontario this upcoming May. Barrie’s Molson Centre and Hamilton’s Copps Coliseum will play host to the WrestleMania Revenue tour of house shows, while Toronto and London will respectively see a Monday Night RAW and SmackDown!/ECW taping on May 5th and 6th.
