Last year the Miami Dolphins took on the New York Giants in Europe and it was an absolute success. The first 40,000 tickets that were made available for the game in London were sold in 90 minutes and the NFL said more than 500,000 requests were received within 3 days of the game being announced (the Wembley Stadium seats 90,000). And this year, the NFL will be making a second appearance in the UK.

The San Diego Chargers (expected by some to be the top team of the 2008 season) will make their way across the pond to take on the New Orleans Saints in what will be the only NFL Football game to be held in Europe this year (though there will be a second international regular season game held in Toronto, Canada between the Dolphins and the Bills) - and there is no doubt it will be a sellout.

The official NFL UK website says:

The Registry of Interest for tickets to the 2008 International Series game between the New Orleans Saints and San Diego Chargers at Wembley Stadium on Sunday October 26th is now closed. There may be limited opportunities to purchase general admission tickets to this game without having registered later this year. To ensure that you are notified of any such opportunities you should register as a member of this website.
